I thought just for fun, I'd add up what I've spent on insurance and alternative modes of transportation while I've been waiting for my scooter.

• Insurance from May to July = $231
• Insurance from July to September = $150
• TTC fares to work May – September = $200
• TTC fares; other May – September = $160
• Cabs: = $128

• TOTAL = $869

That's a conservative estimate. Sick, huh?
